Challenge
Networking three (3) plants together in the downtown Cincinnati area.
Solution
With two (2) district cooling plants located at the main plan on Walnut Street and a secondary plant located at the Cincinnati Convention Center, Duke Energy needed a solution to network these system and control them. Our Cincinnati team installed the I/A Series and Network 8000 Building Automation System to do the job.
A Closer Look
The main chilled water loops and each individual customer delivery stations are continually monitored and tracked while numerous chillers, pumps, and auxilliary equipment is automatically controlled by the building automation system to meet customer demands.
